Help with applying for a home

Step 1

Speak with your Social Worker/Care Manager. Your Social Worker/Care Manager will assess your current needs and make contact with MacIntyre Housing Association.

Referrals can only be made through Social Services.

Step 2

Social Services will look at properties available in your area and nominate you to MacIntyre Housing Association.

Step 3

Your Social Worker/Care Manager will help you fill in an application form,  this should then be returned to MacIntyre Housing Association.

Step 4

A needs assessment will be carried out by us to check the property will meet your needs.

Step 5

When agreed, you will be able to see the property, meet other tenants and the care/support team.

A letter will be sent to you with a start date of your tenancy or licence agreement for you to move into the property.
