Helping you with your move

When a date for your move has been agreed, your Supported Housing Officer will help you to: 

• complete any benefit forms including Housing Benefit 
• make sure your property is ready for you to move in
• help you understand the rules of your tenancy or licence agreement for your new home
• complete a Support Plan with you

You will need to arrange for your belongings to be moved to your new home.

Supporting you to live in your home

Your Supported Housing Officer will visit you on a regular basis to:

• make sure you keep to rules of your tenancy/licence agreement

• make sure you receive the benefits you are entitled to

• make sure broken things get fixed in your home 

• support you with any issues you may have

• carry out health and safety checks on your home

• review your support plan

• keep you updated on MacIntyre Housing Association events 

• talk with you, your family and/or care/support providers

• go to regular tenant meetings
