About MacIntyre Housing Association
MacIntyre Housing Association is an exempt charity developing and managing high quality accommodation for adults with learning disabilities.
In March 2008 MacIntyre Housing Association became part of Grand Union Housing Group.
Projects range from highly specialised schemes developed around individual needs to conventional self-contained flats with housing association tenancies.
Tenants are encouraged to take an active role in decision making. Clear and accessible tenant information has been developed to promote choice and enhance independence. Our housing management is geared to the distinct needs of the individual and tenants are able to lead diverse and fulfilling lives.
MacIntyre works well with partner agencies to develop practical, innovative and cost effective alternatives to residential and hospital care.
As part of Grand Union Housing Group, MacIntyre has access to financial and staffing resources which generate cost savings and systems improvement for the benefit of tenants.
With its depth of experience and proven track record, MacIntyre Housing Association will increasingly be exploring new opportunities within and beyond its existing operational areas.
What makes us special?

We work directly with tenants on housing support issues and in partnership with others in providing support.
We provide individualised pictorial information for each tenant.
We meet all our tenants to listen to their concerns and respond to them on a regular basis.
